Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 18, 2026

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Flaris (“Flaris”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI social media platform operated by Ubani LTD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our websites, apps, and services (together, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. For terms governing your use of Flaris, see our Terms of Service.

1.Who we are & how to contact us

  • Controller: Ubani LTD, 348A St Albans Road, Watford, UK, WD24 6PQ, is the data controller for personal data processed through the Services.
  • Contact: for any privacy question or request, email admin@tryflaris.com.

2.Personal data we collect

A. Information you provide

  • Account & profile: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and preferences. We support sign-in with email and third-party providers such as Google and Apple.
  • Content: the prompts, briefs, text, images, video, audio, brand assets, and reference material you submit, and the content the Services generate for you.
  • Billing: when you purchase a plan or credits, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive limited information such as your plan, transaction status, and the last digits of your card — we do not store full card numbers.
  • Support & communications: messages, attachments, and feedback you send us.

B. Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account (such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other platforms), we receive access tokens and profile information, and — based on the permissions you grant — the ability to publish content and retrieve analytics about your posts (such as views, watch time, and engagement).

C. Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: features used, content generated, actions taken, and interactions with the Services.
  • Device & diagnostics: browser and device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location, app version, performance metrics, and error logs.
  • Cookies & analytics: identifiers set through cookies and similar technologies, including product analytics and session replay (see the Cookies & analytics section below).

3.How we use personal data

  • Provide and operate the Services — generating content from your Input, saving and organizing your projects, and publishing or scheduling content to your connected accounts.
  • Personalize your experience, including suggesting content and improving outputs based on your brand and preferences.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions and credits, and send service and transactional messages (such as confirmations, security notices, and onboarding emails).
  • Measure performance, debug, secure the Services, prevent abuse, and improve our features and models.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Legal bases (UK/EEA): we rely on contract (to provide the Services), consent (for example, certain marketing or optional cookies), legitimate interests (product improvement, analytics, and security), and legal obligation.

4.AI processing & your content

To generate Output, your Input is processed by AI models that we host or that are operated by reputable third-party AI providers. This means your prompts and uploaded media may be transmitted to those providers solely to fulfill your request.

Model training: we do not use your personal content to train public generative AI models without your permission, and where a provider offers the option, we opt out of having your content used to train their models. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

5.Connected social platforms

We use the access you grant to connected accounts only to provide the features you request — publishing, scheduling, and reading analytics for your posts. We store access tokens securely and act on your account based on your instructions.

You can disconnect a social account at any time from your account settings, or revoke access from within the relevant platform. Disconnecting stops our future access to that account.

6.How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers (subprocessors): vendors that help us run the Services, including cloud hosting and database providers, AI inference providers (to process your Input), payment processing, transactional email, and product analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
  • Social platforms: the platforms you connect, when we publish or retrieve analytics at your direction.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Flaris, our users, and the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7.Cookies, analytics & session replay

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as authentication) and for analytics. We use a product analytics service that may also record session replays — including interactions and text you enter in the app — to help us debug issues and improve the experience. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

8.International data transfers

We may transfer, store, and process your information outside your country, including in the United Kingdom, the EEA, and the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the UK/EEA to a country without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses.

9.Data retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active, and deleted or de-identified after closure or prolonged inactivity, subject to legal and security needs.
  • Content (your projects and generated media) is retained so you can access it. You can delete projects and content within the Services.
  • We may retain certain data longer where required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

10.Your rights

UK & EEA (UK GDPR / GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

California & other US states

You have the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us at the email below.

11.Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to use Flaris, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice where required.
